A New Book In the World & More News

Dear Ones,
Greetings from the 47th parallel where we're smack in the middle of what I call double days. The sun rose at 5:23 a.m. and set at 8:56 p.m. Thursday and it's a challenge to sleep later than 6 a.m. even with the blackout curtains closed. (The eclipse helped, as did clouds). Yesterday I changed the sheets, photographed this bald eagle shaking dry after the rain, published a book, delivered the house keys to a young couple beginning their careers as landlord/property managers, gassed up the car, and stopped at Lowe's to buy some clearance windows to replace the broken ones in my garage all before 5 p.m.
I'm fully recovered from surgery and this weekend I'll be on three-story scaffolding applying Peel Stop and paint to the weatherbeaten shingle siding on our garage. Whether or not you are solar powered like me, I wish you well as we spin toward the summer solstice. Below you'll find more of what I've been up to. And someone, please take a nap for me—all this productivity can be exhausting!

A New Book in the World: Poemographs, an anthology

More than a dozen poets let their creativity loose in response to photos I took and sent every day of April. The result: Poemographs. This anthology is our contribution to National Poetry Month, and a snapshot of the ongoing conversation between writing, art, inspiration, and creativity. I invite you to turn the pages and follow us as we share imaginative journeys to unique destinations. Available at Amazon in paperback and Kindle. No cost app available for Kindle version, no Kindle device needed to read.
KINDLE EDITION FREE FROM MAY 29TH - JUNE 2ND
