Are We There Yet?

Front Page News!
Dear Ones,
I'm like a kid in the backseat asking, "are we there yet?" There, that illusive place where all is calm and nothing is particularly worthy of front page news. Speaking of news, the editor of our weekly newspaper, "The Shelton-Mason County Journal" asked to use one of my photos two weeks ago. It was a delightful surprise to open our mailbox and find my image on page one above the fold instead of filler near the classifieds. And, it was much more fun than having the bottom left photo below published: the inside of our house flooding two days after Christmas. Life for us continues to swing wildly between the sublime and disastrous as we prepared both our house and my parents' home in the Sierras for the next potential weather event. I'm longing for the even keel of the equinox in all aspects of existence! Wishing you all well.
